Tiva always dreamed of life under the sea, and her mermaid dreams came true when she received a crown that unlocked her shapeshifting abilities. She enjoys spending time at the beach listening to the stories the waves bring her and sharing some tall tales of her own.

Mermaid Tiva is the founder of Mermaid at Any Age. Mermaid At Any Age's mission is to provide merfolk from all the realms with inspiration and resources to live their fullest merlife. Whether your tail is silicone or fabric, you represent with just leggings or earrings, all mermaids are valid.

Mermaid Tiva’s very official gig was November 2019 when she joined Mermaid Jinx of Uncanny Occasions as a guest mermaid in Colorado for the Inland Ocean Coalition’s Mermaid Ball.

Prior to diving into the world of mermaids, Tiva studied world dance at Santa Monica College and was a founding member of Raqs Nouveau, a tribal-fusion belly dance troupe. She has performed worldwide as a soloist visiting far-off lands such as Perth, Australia, and most recently with the group Global Motion in Beijing, China.

Mermaid Tiva lives along the California coast where she spends her time making sweet treats for her favorite pirate, and taking care of her rescue purrmaid, Kitty Fury. A lifelong swimmer, she has ofishially been a mermaid for three years and has accomplished a lot in that short time!

• Red Cross Certified Lifeguard
• Water Safety Instructor.

She has served on diversity panels at California Mermaid Convention and makes mermaid appearances around Southern California. She is also honored to be a Cape Cali Ambassador, Monarch International's Ms. California Mermaid, and King and Queen of the Seas' Sea Queen of California.
